The Larsens began doing sail repair
work for boaters in the Santa Cruz/ Monterey Bay area in the early
1970’s. They started in a garage with one sewing machine, the
skills and love of their craft and a desire to deliver only the
best. The team grew in numbers as its reputation for innovation
and quality spread. In 1972, the “summer job” became Larsen Sails,
